Joseph completed his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University in Biochemistry & Biophysics, conducting molecular biology research under Dr. Hong Moulton. He is currently a third year physical chemistry Ph.D. student in Dr. Wright’s lab at UW-Madison. His research interests involve using CLEM and cryo-ET to answer cell function and dysfunction questions in neuroscience. He uses both neuron-like cell lines and primary neuron cultures in his research.
