Juan joined Dr. Elizabeth Wright’s lab in December of 2019 and is a graduate student in Biophysics. He is using cryo-ET to study prokaryotic appendages in pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria. He received his B.S. in Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University and his M.S. in Biology at Northeastern Illinois University.
